Goals for the Foreseeable Future
Short Term Goals
Educational/Professional
I will graduate from South Piedmont Community College in May of 2024 with an Associate of Arts, meaning 61 total transferable college credits. I will also graduate with a 4.0 GPA.

I will graduate from Union County Early College in May of 2024 and receive my high school diploma. I will also graduate with a GPA of 4.70 or higher.

By the fall of 2024, I will be attending either the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) or Coastal Carolina University (CCU) and studying marine science.
Personal/Social
I will obtain my scuba diving certification by the end of 2024 through taking a university course. Ideally, I hope to take a basic scuba diving course in the fall of 2024, but availability can be scarce.

I will get a part-time summer job at a retail store by June of 2024 to save up at least five hundred dollars for personal use during the upcoming semester of university.

I will take at least one vacation with my family in the summer of 2024 before I leave to study at my chosen university. Preferably in the month of June and to a warm location such as Florida or to see my grandparents in Puerto Rico.

I will graduate in the spring of 2026 with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from my chosen university. I will maintain and graduate with at least a 4.0 GPA.

I will begin conducting student research on my university's campus under the guidance of trusted professors and staff starting at least by the spring semester of 2025. I will publish at least three official reports by graduation of my findings.

Personal/Social
I will become an official Divemaster through the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) by the time I graduate with my Bachelor's degree in the spring of 2026. To achieve this, I will need to have 40 logged dives, hold a Rescue Diver certification, and have proof of Emergency First Response training.

Upon my graduation from university, I will move out from my mother's house and independently live on my own in an apartment along the North or South Carolina coastline, for better job opportunities. I will achieve this by at least the fall of 2026.

I will also start putting aside three hundred dollars each month for a new car. While I have a perfectly working car now, I would like to eventually trade it in for an electric Fiat 500 to save money on gasoline and contribute to a better environment through less carbon dioxide emissions. By 2028, I plan to trade in my car and have all the money saved up to buy a new car without needing to take out an auto loan.
